Dmitry Medvedev has signed into law settling the status of special-purpose aviation on the aviation of Roscosmos

The president has signed into Federal law “About making changes in the section 22 of Russian Federation Air Code”, the Kremlin’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

The federal law has been passed by the State Duma on November 1st 2011 and it has been approved by the Federation Council in accordance with paragraph 4 of section 105 of Constitution of Russian Federation.

The Federal law assumes making changes in the section 22 of Russian Federation Air Code, which sets the legal basis for usage of state aviation of Federal Space Agency in the network of performing its functions of providing the space activities and it also settles the status of state special-purpose aviation on the aviation of Roscosmos.

The federal law is aimed at normalizing the state regulation of activities in the area of state aviation, said in the statement of Kremlin’s press-service.
