Russian government will unveil 160 billion rubles by 2015 for increasing the flight safety

Russian government will allocate about 160 billion rubles in the next 3 years for increasing the aviation safety, stated Vladimir Putin during a meeting with Secretary General of ICAO, Raymond Benjamin. AEX.ru

"We will transport around 60 million passengers by air transport in Russia this year. The passenger traffic is constantly increasing", - said the prime-minister, - "We also have the program for increasing the flight safety until 2015: we plan to allocate about 160 billion or about $5,3 billion in accordance with the current rate of exchange".

The prime-minister said that aviation is the fast-growing high-tech industry. "We would like to build our relations on the basis of generally accepted international rules with all our traditional partners and in the network of ICAO", - Putin added.
