Irkut Corporation has been declared the best company of Russian military-industrial complex. The president of Irkut Corporation, Alexey Fedorov, has been awarded the diploma of “Company of the year 2011” national prize in the category “Military-industrial complex” on November 21st 2011, the company reports. As stated by Alexey Fedorov, Irkut Corporation keeps the leading positions in the export of military aircraft, deploys the production of new aircraft for Russian air forces and develops program of MS-21 passenger liner.

The annual “Company of the year” award has been established by RosBusinessConsulting Group. The award winners are defined by expert council formed by influential business representatives, state authorities and public figures. The award is presented under the patronage of Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.

Along with Irkut Corporation the award has been presented to several Russia’s largest companies: «RussNeft», Norilsk Nickel, KAMAZ, VTB Bank, Oboronprom, etc.
