VSMPO-Avisma will bring new products for aircraft industry to US market

VSMPO-Avisma Corporation has signed a long-term agreement on redistribution of products with Universal Stainless & Alloy Products (USA), e-Mash reports.

It is planned to bring new products for aircraft industry, made of Russian titan, to US market in 2012. New products will be used while manufacturing aviation fasteners and in medical industry.

The Russian manufacturer will be supplying billets for production of bars for NF&M International Inc (US subsidiary of VSMPO-Avisma). As reported by the Corporation, NF&M intends to manufacture bars of small diameter, wire and straight fine-tolerance bars. It is planned to decrease the minimum diameter of the bar from 0,75 to 0,25 inches, and the minimum diameter of wire - to 0,125 inches.
