A delegation of Sheremetyevo International Airport headed by the director of Center for cooperation with airlines, Vladimir Hizhnyak, has taken part in the 17th World Route Development Forum. The forum had been taking place in Berlin, Germany from October 2nd to October 4th 2011, the airport’s press-service reports. AEX.ru
The representatives of Sheremetyevo have presented a new airport’s infrastructure connected with the Sheremetyevo’s strategic development plan as the largest aviation hub of Eastern Europe by the scope of passenger transportation and the quality of provided services. Sheremetyevo international airport has presented one of the forum’s most impressive stands with the area of 105 square meters. The aim of the installation is to show the scale and significance of changes in the infrastructure, which have been taking place at the airport since 2005. The stand has been drawn in white and orange colors symbolizing the purity, outspokenness, perfection and development. The key element of the stand was a hi-tech nest-doll, reflecting the philosophy of Sheremetyevo International Airport as the national air gates, which sees its development in the union of three key structures: airport, airlines-partners and passengers. The conceptual futuristic solution of the element demonstrates the Sheremetyevo airport’s looking in the future and commitment to the usage of state-of-the-art information technologies and innovations in its development.
The participation in Routes in 2011 is especially important for Sheremetyevo – the airport has been included in the short list of nominees for the prestigious award - Airport Marketing Awards. The largest airlines use this award to mark the best in their opinion airports of the world by the effectiveness of cooperation and quality of partner relations. «We thank our airline partners, which have appreciated our work and voted for us.
