The Board of Directors has approved the participation of Rosnano in a project of creation of advanced plant for manufacturing of high-efficiency constructional materials for aerospace, energy constructing and machine building industries, Rosnano’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

The manufacturing of products on the basis of grain metallurgy technology, including disks made of fast-chilled heatproof nickel alloy. The usage of such disks in gas-turbine engines and powerplants allows increasing of thrust by 15–20% due to increase of turbine-inlet temperature from 1530°С to 1750°С and decrease of the engine’s weight by 10–15%. These indicators are very important in manufacturing of gas-turbine engines allowing decreasing fuel consumption and increasing range of aircraft. The nanopatterned armature for building sector will become another product of new plant.
