CEO of Aeroflot – Russian Airlines, Vitaly Savelyev, has been awarded "Aristos-2011" prize in the “Best Director” category, the airline’s press-service reports. The prestigious award has been presented to the CEO during a solemn ceremony held in МОSCOW INTERNATIONAL PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE on October 26th. AEX.ru

The Aristos award has been founded by the Association of Managers – the public business association, promoting the highest standards of management. Simple and clear methodology forms the basis of this award’s presentation – «The Best choose the Best». The nominees are the directors, who occupy the top positions in the sections of rating in the network of “1000 best managers of Russia” project.

According to this indicator, Vitaly Savelyev is the most effective CEO in Russia. The achievements of top-management of the Russia’s leading airline have already been marked by the presentation of Aristos award earlier. Aeroflot’s top-management has been awarded the prize in a special category “Best management team” last year.

The presentation of Aristos award to Vitaly Savelyev in the “Best Director” category is the acknowledgement of his efforts’ effectiveness, which result in Aeroflot being one of the fastest growing airlines of the world.
