Volga-Dnepr has become the first airline, which has been awarded the prestigious prize of Baltic Air Charter Association (BACA) in the category Best Cargo Charter Airline, the airline reports. AEX.ru

The 2011 award has been presented to Volga-Dnepr, the world’s leading airline in air transportation of super-heavy and oversized cargo, during solemn ceremony in London, where the best representatives of charter business have been awarded. It has been attended by hundreds of authorities from many companies of charter industry. Dmitry Grishin, Director of Sales of the airline’s British representative office, has accepted the prize on the part of Volga-Dnepr.

BACA joins more than 120 organizations, working at the charter transportation market. These are airlines, airports, handling agents, expeditors, consultants, etc. Every year they vote in order to define the best companies in different categories.

Chairman of BACA Dick Gilbert, said: «The award in Best Cargo Charter Airline category means that the winner has been efficiently competing with all the cargo carriers of the world and won. During voting, the members of the Association pay special attention to provision of quality on all the stages of charter transportation. Victory of Volga-Dnepr in this category for the third straight year is a remarkable achievement, which reflects the high quality of its commercial divisions’ work, reliability and experience of its flight and technical services».
