UTair Aviation has acquired the first of twenty helicopters by Eurocopter, planned for delivery, the airline reports. AEX.ru

These light helicopters are notable for their perfect aircraft performance, high thrust/weight ratio, outstanding statistics in the area of flight safety and low operational costs, UTair noted.

The next helicopters will be delivered to Russia in a new improved AS350 B3e modification. UTair will become the first operator of these helicopters in Russia.

The total of 20 Ecureuil Family helicopters should be delivered to Russia until May 2013. Six of them are twin-engine AS355 NP.
