Following the results of nine months of 2011 the passenger traffic of Moscow Domodedovo airport was 19 804 483 passengers. Thus it has increased by 16.9% as compared to the period from January to September in 2010. The number of flights in September 2011 has increased by 13,2%: 22 230 takeoff and landing operations have been performed.

Following the results of January-September 2011 period, more than 184 597 flights have been serviced (+17,3% as compared to the similar period of 2010).

The passenger traffic on domestic airlines was 998 476 passengers in September 2011 (+16,3%). During the period from January to September 2011 the passenger traffic on domestic airlines was 7 663 453 passengers (+15,9%). The greatest growth has been recorded on the following destinations: Krasnodar, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Rostov-on-Don, Novy Urengoy. The passenger traffic on these destinations was 1 895 thousand passengers (+37,4%).

The passenger traffic on international airlines has increased by 23,2% in September 2011 and was 1 653 177 passengers. During the period from January to September 2011 the passenger traffic on international airlines was 12 141 030 passengers (+17,6% as compared to January-September 2010).

The greatest growth has been recorded on the following international destinations: Antalya, Barcelona, Munich, Frankfurt on the Main, Paphos. 2 312 thousand passengers have been transported on the specified destinations during the period from January to September 2011 (+60,3% as compared to 2010).

The cargo traffic of Domodedovo airport in September 2011 was 16676 tons (+12,8%). During the period from January to September 2011 Domodedovo’s cargo traffic has increased by 23,1% to 135435 tons.
