The fleet of EMERCOM will be expanded to 200 aircraft by 2020, BFM.ru reports. It has been reported by the head of EMERCOM aviation administration, Sergey Fedorov.

According to him, the present fleet of EMERCOM includes 58 aircraft: 18 airplanes and 40 helicopters.

Fedorov underlines that the expansion of aircraft fleet will be started in 2011.

According to him, EMERCOM will acquire two new Be-200s, 3 Мi-8 helicopters and 5 fire-fighting Ka-32s. Moreover, the Ministry intends to acquire two Аn-148s, 3 Мi-8s and four Ка-32s in 2012, which should significantly expand the fleet of EMERCOM.

Meanwhile, the head of aviation of EMERCOM said, that at present even such number of aircraft is not enough for completing the upstanding objectives.
