CEO of Yakutia airlines, Ivan Alekseevich Prostita, and CEO of PowerJet (the joint venture of Snecma (Safran Group) and NPO Saturn), Jacques Desclaux, have signed the agreement on maintenance of SaM146 engines for Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft (SSJ100), Safran Group reports. AEX.ru
This agreement has followed the signing of a firm contract between Yakutia and Sukhoi Civil Aircraft on delivery of two Sukhoi Superjet 100s. The jets will be put into operation in 2012.
By signing this agreement Yakutia becomes a member of PowerLife ™ program, developed for provision of technical support for the whole powerplant (engine, equipment, nacelle). The general clauses of contract between Yakutia and PowerJet, regarding maintenance of the engine, accompanying documents, personnel training and warranty, are specified in the agreement.
