The total flight time of Armavia’s Sukhoi Superjet 100 in commercial flights has reached 1000 hours

The total flight time of Armavia’s Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) in revenue flights has reached 1000 hours. The significant milestone has been reached during U8-151 flight, which has been performed on route Yerevan-Amsterdam on October 9th, press-service of Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (SCA) reports. AEX.ru

Since its entry into service on April 21st, Armavia’s SSJ100 has transported more than 21000 passengers and covered more than 650000 km. The flights have been performed from Yerevan to 27 airports of Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Western and Southern Europe and Middle East. Most flights have been performed at the altitude of 10,67-11,89 km with speeds from 0,78 to 0,8М. The maximum daily flight time of the aircraft has reached 16.5 hours, the longest flight was from Yerevan to Madrid was more than 4000 km.

Such an excellent result at the initial stage of operation of new-built Sukhoi Superjet 100 passenger aircraft has been achieved due to effective work of Armavia’s personnel and support provided by SCA and Superjet International.

«SSJ100 has demonstrated that it is quite competitive and has a potential for perfection, which may make it very attractive for customers and operators», - the owner of Armavia, Mikhail Bagdasarov noted.
