SuperJet International, a joint venture between Alenia Aeronautica, forming part of Finmeccanica group, and Sukhoi Holding Company, - has reported about signing the contract with Comlux on delivery of two Sukhoi Business Jets (SBJ) with an option on two more aircraft, the company reports. AEX.ru
Thus, Comlux is now the launch customer of new VIP version of the aircraft. Comlux is one of the leading innovative companies at the world business aviation market, offering new products to the VIP passengers.
The start of deliveries is scheduled on 2014. The amount of the contract including option is $200 million.
VIP-interior of the aircraft’s cabin will be developed and installed at the Comlux America customization center in Indianapolis (USA). Complux America has been chosen as the first customization center for Sukhoi Business Jet.
Sukhoi Business Jet is the VIP version of Sukhoi Superjet 100. The liner has a spacious and “ultra quiet” cabin with a volume of 118 m3 / 4192 ft3. Thanks to the additional fuel tanks, the aircraft’s range will be around 8000 km. The launch of VIP has taken place 4 months ago after successful entry into service of SSJ100 in April 2011.

At present the Comlux’s fleet includes 19 aircraft (1 BBJ767 limitless, 2 Airbus ACJ318s, 2 ACJ319s, 1 ACJ320, 4 Bombardier Global Express, 3 Global 5000s, 3 Challenger 605s, 2 Challenger 850s and 1 Dassault Falcon 900LX). In addition, 8 more aircraft are ordered or at the final stage before entry into service (1 Airbus ACJ319, 2 Bombardier Global 6000s, 2 Global 7000s and 3 Embraer Legacy 650s).
