World’s largest commercial rotorcraft operator, Russia’s UTair has taken delivery of the last Mil Mi-8AMT in the batch of 40 such medium utility helicopters ordered in 2007.

This was the largest rotorcraft contract between a commercial Russian operator and a Russian helicopter manufacturer after collapse of the Soviet Union.

The helicopters were manufactured by Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant (Russian acronym UUAZ), a member in the Helicopters of Russia holding.

The manufacturer says deliveries took place ahead of contractual schedule. This reflects the top priority UUAZ and Helicopters of Russia give to UTair as their long-standing and loyal customer.
