With the gradual removal of quarantine measures and the beginning of the tourist season, Ural Airlines is again equipping its sides for the needs of passengers. Experts note that the airline industry is starting to recover, our compatriots are leaving for Russian resorts, and the airline is recording an increase in the number of bookings.

During the pandemic, when passenger traffic fell sharply, Ural Airlines converted 12 out of 48 aircraft of its fleet to cargo sides to deliver humanitarian supplies from abroad to Russia and Europe. Employees of the aviation technical center of the airline have already returned three of the twelve sides to their usual state. For this, passenger seats were installed in the salons in place.

It takes two to three days to re-equip one side. It all depends on the modification and age of the aircraft. For example, the work that is currently underway to re-equip the Airbus A321neo takes three days due to the need to install the supply cables of usb ports.

The remaining planes are waiting in line at Koltsovo and Zhukovsky.
