Vladivostok International Airport reports on a launch of a new direct regular flight from Vladivostok to Tokyo. The flights will be operated by Japan Airlines (JAL), a new partner of the Airport.
Japan Airlines has been providing continuous service to Russia for nearly half a century, contributing to the economic development and cultural exchange between Japan and Russia. To further contribute to the diplomatic relationship between the two countries, Vladivostok International Airport and Japan Airlines are announcing inaugural nonstop service between Tokyo-Narita and Vladivostok, which is scheduled to start from the summer schedule of 2020.
The carrier plans to operate daily flights to Tokyo with Boeing 737-800. Citizens and guests of Vladivostok will be able to get to the capital of Japan by direct flight within 2 hours 15 minutes. Departure time from Vladivostok is 16:25 local time, arrival to Tokyo is 17:40. The return flight from Tokyo is scheduled at 11:20 local time, arrival to Vladivostok at 14:45.
At present, the flights from the Capital of Russian Far East to Japan are operated by 3 Russian carriers – S7 Airlines, Aurora Airlines and Ural Airlines.
