On 10th December, 2018, the Board of Directors of Rossiya Airlines JSC elected Sergey Aleksandrovsky as the CEO for a term of three years.
Sergey Aleksandrovsky has been working at the company since 2016. He was an acting CEO from September 2018. He worked as the Deputy CEO for Sales and Property Issues until September. He was directly involved in the formation and implementation of the business model of Rossiya Airlines.
The model of the airline development includes operation in the middle-price segment, route network expenditure from Pulkovo Airport, operation of flights from Moscow to socially demanded destinations, including cities of the Far East. Besides, the airline continues to be one of the civil aviation leaders in terms of flights to the most popular resorts among Russian citizens.

Since March 2016, Rossiya Airlines started its operations in the new format uniting the best practices of aviation collectives from Saint-Petersburg, Moscow, Orenburg and Rostov-on-Don. The renewed Rossiya reached significant increase of its production indicators on its first year of operations. According to the results of 2017, it was included in the top-3 of the Russian Federation leaders for the first time in its history. Last year Rossiya has transported more than 11 mln passengers, increasing the passenger traffic by 27%. In 2017, Rossiya was honored as the most dynamically developing airline of Saint-Petersburg.
