Within the framework of the exhibition, more than 100 exhibitors presented to the civil aviation experts the latest technologies and products for the development of airport infrastructure, airfields and airlines in the field of design and construction, IT, security, ground handling, non-aeronautical revenues, navigation systems and other sectors. Companies from: Hungary, Germany, Denmark, China, Latvia, Luxembourg, United Arab Emirates, Belarus, Russia, the USA, France, Czech Republic, Switzerland, South Korea took part in the exhibition.

Within two days, NAIS-2018 participants and guests discussed various aspects of the development of the air transport industry at the round tables. So, on the first day of the forum, the Plenary meeting "The Readiness of the Aviation Infrastructure for the FIFA 2018 World Cup was held", which discussed the development of transport infrastructure in preparation for the FIFA 2018 World Cup in Russia, as well as the forecast of tourist flows and new mechanisms of organisation of transport support and readiness of the regions of Russia to host the World Cup. 11 cities of the Russian Federation will host in 2018 matches of the World Cup. Passenger flow to the cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Saransk, Samara, Rostov-on-Don, Volgograd, Kaliningrad, Yekaterinburg will increase at times. On the first day of the NAIS-2018 exhibition and forum, Rosaviatsiya and the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of Turkey signed a working agreement in the field of airworthiness and aviation equipment certification. The agreement was signed by the head of the Federal Air Transport Agency Alexander Neradko and Deputy Director General of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of Turkey Kan Erel. Within the framework of the agreement, the Russian and Turkish aviation authorities will be able to legalise the cooperation of the two countries in the field of certification of aircraft, aviation products, as well as developers and manufacturers of aviation equipment.
Within the business part of the forum there were meetings and round tables on the topics: "Design and construction of the airport infrastructure: modern approaches, new technologies", "Cybersecurity in the aviation industry", "The concept of" AIRPORT-CITY "- new approaches to the management of non-aeronautical airports" , "Aviation and Tourism Business: Points of Growth", "Transport (Aviation) Security", "Human Factor, CRM and Aviation Psychologist - A New Integral Tool for Improving Flight Safety", "IT and Innovation air traffic services and civil aviation infrastructure ".
In addition, as part of the first day of NAIS-2018, the head of the Russian Federal Aviation Administration Alexander Neradko presented awards to the winners and laureates of the competition "Research work of students and young scientists of educational institutions of the CA", as well as awards to employees of the aviation industry in honour of the 95th anniversary of the Civil Aviation of Russia.
Within the framework of NAIS-2018 on February 7, the ceremony of awarding the winners of the Skyway Service Award - airlines for the best for service and client programs according to passengers was held.
Skyway Service Award is the only award in the Russian aviation industry, where the winners were determined not by experts, but by the consumers of air carrier services - by passengers. Airlines were awarded for the service in the following categories: business class, economy class, charter flights, duty free on board, service for passengers with children and passengers with disabilities, on-board entertainment and communication systems, on-line services for clients, loyalty program for passengers.
