Russia plans to increase the production of civil aircraft by 1.8 times in 2021

In 2021, Russia plans to increase the production of civil aircraft by 1.8 times - up to 22 planes, helicopters - by 8%, up to 91 aircraft. This is stated in the annual report of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. This reported by TASS.

In 2020, according to the ministry, 12 aircraft (excluding small aircraft) and 84 helicopters were produced in the country, in the pre - pandemic 2019 - 11 planes and 64 helicopters.

As follows from the report, in value terms, the total production of aircraft equipment will amount to 1.15 trillion rubles (an increase of 16% compared to 2020). It is planned that in 2021, the value of exported aircraft will amount to 471 billion rubles (an increase of 14% compared to a year earlier).
