The Government of the Russian Federation will allocate additional 6.5 billion rubles for the development of the space industry, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a Government meeting on Thursday.
‘On the instructions of the President, the Government will allocate an additional 6.5 billion rubles for the development of the space industry, including unconditional fulfillment of international obligations in this area. Our country has always been a reliable partner, that clearly follows all agreements reached,’ Mishustin said.
Russia retains one of the leading positions in the world in the space industry. Today, Russian cosmonautics faces serious strategic tasks and ambitious plans related to space exploration and development, as well as the fulfillment of international obligations.
‘It is important to improve the efficiency of the entire industry, develop scientific potential, and improve infrastructure,’ stressed Prime Minister.
