Eastern MD air unit received new Su-34 fighter-bombers

Another batch of new Su-34 fighter-bombers reinforced the air unit located near Komsomolsk-on-Amur (Khabarovsk Krai)

Flight and maintenance personnel have met the new hardware at the Khurba airfield.

Earlier, the Eastern MD Commander Colonel General Sergei Surovikin claimed that the Military District would receive over 700 pieces of military hardware in 2016, among them – 60 warplanes and helicopters.

The Su-34 aircraft is designed to engage ground, surface and air targets day and night in any weather conditions.
