In the network of MAKS-2015 airshow held in Zhukovsky (Moscow Region) Roseksimbank (subsidiary of EKSAR, VEB Group) and Ilyushin Finance & Co. leasing company (IFC) signed a contract for providing export credits to finance delivery of three An-158 aircraft to Cuba.

Under the signed agreement around $70 million will be allocated for the project. The agreement was signed by IFC CEO Alexander Rubtsov and Chairman of the Management Board of Roseksimbank Dmitry Golovanov.

Over the last ten years Roseksimbank and IFC have been successfully cooperating in terms of deliveries of Russian-produced civil aircraft to Cuba and spare parts for them. Today Cuban airlines are operating 15 Il-96-300, Tu-204 and An-158 aircraft. A total value of all the export contracts for delivery of aircraft exceeded $500 million (state guarantees - $620 million), IFC noted.

«Russian government, Vnesheconombank and our shareholder want Roseksimbank to focus on supporting exports of high-tech products,” Dmitry Golovanov said. “In this regard the aircraft industry is one of key areas of the national economy. Today the bank has special offers for exporters of high-tech products in the area of financing, and these offers can make their products even more competitive at the global market”.
