According to the carrier’s statement, S7 Airlines resumed flights to Seoul after a five-year break. The flights to Korea were launched in the network of S7 Airlines’ program for development of route network in Siberia and Far East.
The flights are performed once a week on Wednesdays. The flight departs from Irkutsk at 05:45 and arrives in Seoul at 09:45. The return flight departs at 11:15 and arrives in Irkutsk at 15:30. Passengers from other cities may fly to Seoul with a convenient connection at the Irkutsk airport.
Advanced Airbus A320 liners featuring two-class cabin layout seating 158 passengers are operated on this route.
«In future we will launch flights to the capital of Korea from other cities of S7 Airlines route network. We hope that the flight will be popular. The direct flight and visa-free regime for citizens of Russia coming to Korea for a short stay make this destination more attractive», - Vadim Besperstov, S7 Airlines Strategic Development Director, noted.
