UTair-Express, part of UTair Group signed a technical support agreement with PowerJet for maintenance of SaM146 engines, which power Sukhoi SuperJet 100 aircraft. Six jets of the type will join the carrier’s fleet in 2014; the first airliner will be delivered to the customer in June 2014, press-service of UTair Aviation reports.
"Under this agreement PowerJet will provide UTair-Express with full technical and operational support, including repair of the engines, engine modules and components. PowerJet will also provide the airline with a personal manager responsible for communication between the operator and the PowerJet’s maintenance personnel", - the company explained.
