Another A319 aircraft joined the fleet of VIM Airlines (also known as VIM Avia). The new aircraft painted in the carrier’s red-white livery arrived in Moscow Domodedovo airport and performed its first revenue flight on June 18th 2014, the carrier’s press-service reports.
The jet performed its first revenue flight on route Moscow – Peloponnesus. The aircraft can seat up to 150 passengers. «The first two aircraft of the type were added to VIM Airlines’ Air Operator Certificate in April 2014. Today, the airline operates four A319 jets seating from 150 to 156 passengers (including the airliners put into service in June). The expansion of the carrier’s fleet and addition of different aircraft types having different aircraft performance and layout to its Air Operator Certificate allow VIM Airlines to increase the number of flights and offer more convenient routes and new services to its passengers», - the press-service said.

At present the airline’s management team is negotiating with the largest Russian and foreign airframers and lessors.
