S7 Airlines is taking the rights of its passengers very seriously and so the carrier is not going to prevent them from taking a selfie anymore. That is why the airline lifted a ban on taking photos onboard the S7 Airlines’ aircraft, said in the statement of S7 press-service.
"Everyone has a right to take a selfie (a photo of yourself taken using a cellphone, camera or webcam), regardless of where you are. Of course, journeys are not exceptions. We have noticed that journey becomes less attractive for the passengers without an opportunity to take a selfie inside the aircraft and share it with friends", - said in the statement.
In order to encourage all the passengers waiting for this opportunity, every months the airline will present a free ticket to an author of the best selfie taken onboard or in front of an S7 aircraft (this event will expire on January 1st 2015). The best photos will be posted at the pages of S7 Airlines in social networks. Every month the most vivid, interesting and unusual photo will be selected and its author will be awarded.
"We remind you that the use of electronic devices during takeoff and landing is still prohibited. We kindly ask you to bear with the flight attendant’s request to turn off the cell phones and other devices", - the airline added.
