S7 Airlines and SriLankan Airlines, members of oneworld global alliance, signed a code-share agreement. Under the agreement, the carriers will be performing flights on popular tourist routes in Asia, press-service of S7 reports.
"On May 15th 2014 the carriers started performing code-share flights from Moscow to Colombo (the capital of Sri-Lanka) and from Moscow to Bangkok (Thailand) with a convenient connection at Colombo airport. The advanced A330 airliners owned by SriLankan Airlines are operated on these routes. On the other hand, the passengers of SriLankan now have the opportunity to travel from Colombo to six Russian cities: St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Chelyabinsk and Volgograd", - S7 noted.
We remind you that, SriLankan joined the oneworld global alliance on May 1st 2014. Members of S7 Priority frequent flyer program may get bonus miles while travelling with SriLankan Airlines and spend them on award tickets on SriLankan flights. During the period from May 15th to July 1st 2014 the passengers may earn double bonus miles on SriLankan flights having subscribed for “Double miles” event at the S7 website.
