Another Airbus A320 aircraft equipped with new Sharklet wing-tip devices joined the fleet of Aeroflot – Russian Airlines. It was named after Soviet military leader, Marshal of the Soviet Union, Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov, the carrier’s press-service reports.
"At present, Aeroflot’s fleet comprises 99 А319/20/321 Family aircraft; the average age of these liners is 4.7 years. All the jets are delivered to Aeroflot directly from the manufacturer’s site. The jet is powered by CFM56 engines and features a two-class cabin configuration seating 158 passengers (8 seats in business class and 150 ones – in the economy class). Aeroflot operates the A320 Family jets on European and domestic flights. Aeroflot is among the world’s leading companies in terms of service reliability and the actual time in the air per aircraft”, - said in the carrier’s statement.
