Transaero Airlines has completed the cabin design of its Airbus A380s, the world’s largest aircraft. We remind you that deliveries of A380 jets to Transaero will be started in 2015, the carrier’s press-service reports.
Each jet of the type will feature a comfortable three-class cabin layout seating 652 passengers (Imperial (First), Business and Economy classes). “Imperial class is a unique product offered by Transaero. The A380 aircraft will feature 12 closed suites with the most comfortable seats capable of converting into full-flat beds. Neighboring seats may be separated by a retracting blind, which will ensure privacy for each passenger. Imperial class cabin will be fitted with the widest seats in the class; they will be upholstered with fabric shimmering with shades of gold. Electromechanical window shades may be controlled remotely either by a passenger or its personal flight attendant. Moreover, each suite is equipped with an external light indication in order to assure the highest quality of service. The Imperial class cabin will be located in the nose section of the lower deck and will feature 1-2-1 seat configuration”, - the airline noted.
Business class cabin of Transaero’s A380 will be fitted with 24 cocoon-type seats, upholstered with high quality fabric. The seats are able to recline 180 degrees converting into flat beds. The business class cabin will be located in the nose section of the upper deck in 1-2-1 configuration. The Imperial and business class cabins will be fitted with “MOOD LIGHTS” lighting changing colors of lighting depending on the current flight stage creating a comfortable atmosphere for the passengers. The spacious cabin of the airliner allows the carrier to place bars in Imperial and business class. Moreover, Transaero follows its traditions and provides special cloakrooms for passengers of these classes.
Economy class cabin will be equipped with 616 seats and will be located on both lower and upper decks. The seats in this class will be upholstered with high quality leather featuring 3D effect. The seat pitch in economy class will be 31-32 inches complying with the existing international standards. The seats will be configured in 3-4-3 rows on the lower deck and in 2-4-2 rows on the upper deck.
Transaero has chosen the A380’s cabin layout seating 652 passengers after a thorough analysis of the current market demand for products of different classes of service. Special attention was paid to providing passenger with the highest level of comfort by means of optimizing the number of seats in each cabin. Transaero’s А380 jets will be fitted with the most advanced satellite system using Ka-Band technology to grant high-speed in-flight Internet access and mobile services. It will ensure up to 12 Mb/sec data transfer speed for each passenger. The carrier’s Airbus 380 aircraft will be equipped with the advanced in-flight entertainment system Panasonic eX3. It will allow passengers to watch HD films with surround sound, live broadcasting of major TV channels and will also provide access to a wide range of Internet services, the press-service added.

Putting the first A380 into service will be a significant milestone for Russian civil aviation”.
