S7 Airlines and Finnair, members of oneworld alliance, announced signing the code-share agreement. Under the agreement the carriers will be performing flights between Russia and Finland, said in the statement released by the press-service of S7.
On April 26th 2014 the airlines will start performing code-share flights from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg to Helsinki, and from Helsinki to Joensuu, Kuopio, Oulu, Rovaniemi, Tampere, Turku and Vaasa.
«S7 Airlines will start performing flights to Helsinki from Domodedovo airport (Moscow) on April 26th 2014. The passengers of S7 Airlines will also have an opportunity to travel from Helsinki to seven cities of Finland (these flights will be performed by the partners of S7) having purchased only one ticket», - Strategic Development Director of S7 Airlines, Vadim Besperstov, noted.
In the network of this agreement the Finnair’s code will also appear in the schedule of S7 Airlines on routes from Moscow to Novosibirsk, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Ufa and Yekaterinburg.
"Finnair – is the oneworld partner of S7 Airlines. Members of S7 Priority frequent flyer program will receive bonus miles for performing the code-share flights and get award tickets for Finnair flights. The S7 Priority members having a top tier cards may use the oneworld lounges", - the airline added.
