S7 Training signed an agreement for a new Boeing 737-800 simulator

S7 Training (aviation training center) signed a contract with L-3 Link Communications Training & Simulation on delivery of a new Boeing 737-800 Full Flight Simulator, the press-service of S7 reports.

«The simulator is suitable for all kinds of flight training. It is fitted with advanced electro-hydraulic motion platform and state-of-the-art visualization system Rockwell Collins EP8000. The simulator’s cockpit is with the jet’s cockpit and meets the latest standards of Boeing company», - said in the statement.

The simulator should be put into operation in June 2014. At present it is undergoing final tests at the manufacturer’s facilities.

«This Full Flight Simulator meets the highest European certification requirements. The simulators manufactured by this company are being operated by S7 Training and are showing good results», - the press-service added.

«The new Boeing 737-800 Full Flight Simulator will provide S7 Airlines and other B 737-800 operators with additional capabilities in the area of pilot training. The specialists of our center have a vast experience in operating the simulators manufactured by this company and we have already received first orders», - Director of S7 Training, Natalya Katkova, said.

«S7 Training is the largest aviation training center in Russia, CIS Region and Eastern Europe. S7 Training is operating five Full Flight Simulators intended for training of pilots for Boeing 737, Airbus A320 and An-148 aircraft», - the press-service noted.
