Yakutia Airlines took delivery of the second Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft. The jet with serial number 95020 arrived at Yakutsk airport at 13:05 local time on January 31st 2013, the carrier’s press-service reports.
Thus the contract on delivery of 2 SSJ100s signed by Yakutia Airlines and Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC) has been implemented.
"Sukhoi Superjet 100 will be operated on the following routes: winter schedule – from Yakutsk to Khabarovsk, Novosibirsk, Kharbin; summer schedule – the same destinations along with Yakutsk-Novosibirsk-Neryungri, Khabarovsk-Magadan, Khabarovsk – Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and charter international flights from the cities of Far East. Both Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft of Yakutia Airlines have a two-class cabin configuration seating 93 passengers: 8 – in the business class and 85 – in the economy class", - the airline noted.
The jet will be put into operation after finalizing all the necessary documentation. We remind you that the carrier took delivery of its first Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft in late December 2012. The jet performed its first revenue flight from Yakutsk to Khabarovsk. Yakutia Airlines is the second Russian operator of SSJ100 aircraft and the first Superjet customer from the Far East.
