IAC certified the 103-seat Sukhoi SuperJet 100 aircraft

The Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) completed the certification of major changes in the type design of RRJ-95, the committee press-service reports.

«In particular, expansion of operational conditions in terms of limitation of crosswind speeds – 15 m/s at a dry runway (RRJ-95В model). A supplemental type certificate was issued - № ST322-RRJ-95/D17 on December 27th 2013. Moreover, increase of passenger capacity of RRJ-95B and RRJ-95LR-100 aircraft to 103 passengers. A supplemental type certificate was issued - № ST322-RRJ-95/D18 on December 27th 2013. The improvement of aircraft control system - version 5.02 (model RRJ-95В). A supplemental type certificate was issued - № ST322-RRJ-95/D19 on December 27th 2013. Utilization of new software for avionics V530 (model RRJ-95B). A supplemental type certificate was issued - № ST322-RRJ-95/20 on December 27th 2013», - said in the IAC’s statement.
