In February 2014 Transaero will announce the results of a tender for expansion of its order portfolio held in the network of its fleet renewal program, ch-aviation.ch reports.

At present the carrier is negotiating with Airbus and Boeing on expanding its orders for 4 Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental (deliveries will be started in 2015), 12 Boeing 737-800 (deliveries will be started in 2015), 8 A320 neo (deliveries will be started in 2017), placed in 2012.

It was reported in August 2013 that Transaero will order 20 Boeing 737 MAX jets, however the information has never been confirmed.

We remind you that the airline has been negotiating on expansion of the abovementioned contracts since summer 2013. The results of this tender will be announced in the first quarter of 2014.
