Nizhny Novgorod airport was certified for servicing Boeing 767-200/300 aircraft

Nizhny Novgorod International Airport (part of Aeroporti Regionov Holding Company) has been certified for servicing Boeing 767-200/300aircraft and their modifications. The corresponding instruction was signed by Federal Air Transport Agency, the airport’s press-service reports.

At present Boeing 767-200/300 jets are the heaviest foreign aircraft serviced by the airport.

«The certification of the airport for servicing Boeing 767-200/300 aircraft will help the carriers open new flights from Nizhny Novgorod using wide-body long-haul aircraft, which is undoubtedly profitable for them. The passengers will also benefit from this fact because such jets are operated by large and proven airlines», - the press-service noted.
 
Nizhny Novgorod International Airport is certified for servicing over 50 aircraft types, all types of helicopters and the most popular types of business jets.
