Following the results of 2012 the scope of fuel supply of Aerofuels was 700 thousand tons (+12%), the company’s press-service reports.
"The increase of the scope of fuel supply is caused by a number of factors, for example, increase of passenger traffic, entry into new prospective markets and acquisition of new customers. Many Russian airlines, the key customers of Aerofuels, have increased their passenger traffic on domestic airlines and expanded their presence at the global market", - the press-service noted.
11 out of 18 refueling enterprises of Aerofuels Group are newly established ones. These are alternative refueling enterprises offering the best value for money to the carriers. Shell&Aerofuels received the conformity certificate in late December 2012, which allows carrying out refueling in Pulkovo airport, the Russia’s third largest one.
Aerofuels Group expanded its cooperation with Lufthansa, BritishAirways, AirFrance in 2012. Foreign representatives of business aviation have made use of the company’s services in many countries of the world (for example, in Seychelles, Chile, Brazil, etc.). Aerofuels has also expanded its business at the airports of Ukraine, India and China, the company noted.
«One of the facts that we are really proud of is our company’s entry into foreign markets in order to refuel foreign carriers. We have managed to attract a number of European and Asian airlines in 2012 by means of offering them favorable terms in the area of fuel supply at the airports of Europe, Asia and South America. We view this fact as the evidence of great confidence in Russian companies», - Vladimir Spiridonov, CEO of Aerofuels Group, commented.
At present Aerofuels Group is servicing Russian and foreign carriers at 29 Russian airports. It is also able to supply fuel to over 1000 airports of the world.
