«This event concludes the first stage of development of Volga-Dnepr’s business in Germany. We plan to develop cooperation with the authorities of Saxony in order to turn the business that gives jobs to several dozens of Russian and German employees into a serious business of coalitional cargo industry, which will provide thousands of jobs. After the completion of this hangar we may speak with confidence and rely on our partnership established in 2004. At present we are discussing plans on turning Leipzig into global cargo hub involving not only Russian and Ukrainian companies. We are sure that this hangar will be filled with jets of different carriers from many countries of the world. We have provided all the necessary conditions for that. I want to thank our partners for cooperation and express confidence that our plans will be fulfilled», - Isaykin noted.
«I am sure that this hangar is the first step in our cooperation. I want to thank Mr. Isaykin for implementing all the plans discussed during our first meeting in Moscow in 2009. Today we are talking about expanding our activities beyond maintenance and overhaul and I am sure that we will succeed. I hope we will keep on developing our partnership», - Stanislaw Tillich said.
“The hangar offers our partner Volga-Dnepr Technics the opportunity of carrying out maintenance work on Russian and Western aircraft regardless of the weather conditions. Now that the company has taken over the new maintenance base, a further chapter in our excellent, agreeable relations will begin”, - said Dierk Näther, Managing Director of Leipzig/Halle Airport.
