The net profit of Aeroflot Group during 6 months of 2012 was $7,1 million in accordance with IFRS

The net profit of Aeroflot Group during 6 months of 2012 was $7,1 million in accordance with IFRS, the airline’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

The Group’s revenues have increased by 54% and reached $3,614.4 million. The revenues from transportation have increased by 64% to $3,162.6 million. The revenues have increased mostly due to increase of the scope of works completed by the Group in the first half of 2012 and consolidation of results of several airlines integrated into Aeroflot Group on November 15th 2011: Rossiya – Russian Airlines, SAT, Orenair, Vladivostok Avia", - Aeroflot noted.

The Group’s operating costs have increased by 64% to $3,516.3 million. The increase of operating costs is caused by the increase of the scope of completed works and consolidation of results of several airlines integrated into Aeroflot Group on November 15th 2011. Following the results of 6 months of 2012 the Aeroflot Group has received an EBIT of $98,1 million.

The EBITDA was $247,5 million. The EBITDA margin was 7%.

"The consolidation of financial results of several airlines, which are being integrated into Aeroflot Group, significantly affected the Aeroflot Group’s financial results in the first 6 months of 2012", - the airline said.
