The crews of Mi-24 helicopters of Novosibirsk air base proceeded to the air combat training, Interfax reports.

The press-service of Central Military District reports that during this training the helicopters takeoff in pairs and one of them acts as an enemy. "It hides using ground profile or performs flight at extremely low altitude simulating the UAV. The second helicopter must find its maneuver enemy and photograph it (this action is equated with the defeat of the first vehicle)", - said in the statement.

It is noted that photo devices have been used for the first time during training at Novosibirsk air base. The pilots have studied new air combat tactics in summer and now they have proceeded to the practical training.

"All the pilots of Mi-24 helicopters will master the new surveillance and air combat tactics", - said in the statement.
