AeroSvit has acquired the third Boeing 737

AeroSvit has acquired Boeing 737-700 aircraft. It arrived to the carrier’s base Kiev airport on Friday, June 29th 2012 and it has already performed its first revenue flight on Monday, July 2nd 2012, the airline’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

Another Boeing 737-700 should be delivered to the carrier this week. Both aircraft are acquired by AeroSvit under conditions of operational leasing.

New Aerosvit’s Boeing 737-700 aircraft have two-class cabin configuration with 128 - 134 seats. The jet will be operated on routes to Western Europe, Central Asia and Russia.

This Boeing 737-700 became the fifth new aircraft put into operation by the carrier in last three months.

Two Embraer 190 aircraft delivered directly from the manufacturer’s site in Brazil have been performing flights under AeroSvit’s brand since June 19th. Dnepravia, AeroSvit’s partner in the network of Ukrainian Aviation Group alliance, became the operator of these jets.

Two Boeing 737-800s have been delivered to Kiev from the manufacturer’s site in Seattle earlier this year. These were the first Next Generation 737 aircraft in the fleet of AeroSvit. These jets have performed their first revenue flights on April 3rd and May 29th respectively.

Besides the second Boeing 737-700 NG, which will arrive in Kiev this week, three new Embraer 190 aircraft will join the AeroSvit’s fleet this year. The deliveries of Boeing Next Generation 737 jets will be continued in 2013-2016.
