United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) will present Sukhoi SuperJet 100 aircraft owned by Aeroflot – Russian Airlines at Farnborough International Airshow (UK), ARMS-TASS reports. It was declared by Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (SCA).
As expected, the airline’s SSJ-100 intended for revenue flights will visit the airshow. The jet should be delivered to the carrier from the Komsomolsk-on-Amur-based plant in early July.
Sukhoi Superjet 100 is the regional next-generation 100-seated aircraft developed by Sukhoi Civil Aircraft in cooperation with Alenia Aeronautica. The basic version’s range is 3048 km, the extended range version’s – 4578 km. At present such jets are operated by two airlines – Aeroflot (Russia) and Armavia (Armenia). About 170 Sukhoi SuperJet 100 aircraft have been ordered so far.
