Tupolev Company has presented the work plan, elaborated in cooperation with United Aircraft Corporation for development of components of training aids in the network of Tu-204SM program on May 15th 2012, press-service of Tupolev Company reports. AEX.ru

«The intense preparation for putting the training aids into operation is currently underway at Zhukovsky flight test and development base. Among these training aids are: computer classroom, CPT, FFS, trainer for emergency-rescue procedures, training device for open/close operation of the door and emergency escape hatch. This equipment allows carrying out the advanced and full-scale training of flight crews and maintenance personnel. The training program for crews and flight attendants includes courses of lectures, computer-based training and simulator training», - the company’s press-service explained.

Tu-204SM aircraft is equipped with state-of-the-art avionics, has highly ergonomical cockpit for two pilots fitted with new electronic display and signaling integrated system and navigational trackball manipulator. Tu-204SM has upgraded aircraft furnishings; the “electronic board” concept was implemented using electric components in wing-flap system, Tupolev Company noted.

According to the representative of Tupolev Company, the improvement of post-sales support system, including personnel training, is aimed at provision of safety, increasing the competitive edge and attraction of Tu-204SM aircraft.
