Russian Helicopters has 14%-share of the global helicopter market, ARMS-TASS reports. It was stated by the CEO of Russian Helicopters Holding Company, Dmitry Petrov.

"At present we have 9% in the civil helicopters segment and 22% - in the military segment of the global helicopter market. We are the leading company at the markets of Russia, CIS Region, India and China. We are also promoting our products in Latin America, in particular, in Brazil and Argentina", - Petrov noted.

In early 2000s the share of Russian helicopters at the global market was only 3% and Russia was manufacturing about 80 helicopters per year, but in 2011 we have delivered 262 vehicles to the customers (+48 helicopters or 22.4% as compared to 2010). So now we have 14% of the global helicopter market", - said Petrov.

According to him, the Russian helicopters output should be increased this year – more than 300 vehicles will be manufactured for an overall amount of 150 billion rubles.
