The famous aerobatic team Russian Knights, which is operating Su-27 combat fighters, is celebrating its 21st birthday at the Center for Display of Aviation Equipment (Kubinka, Moscow Region), ITAR-TASS reports.
Russian Knights is the world’s only aerobatic team, which performs solo and formation flying using 1, 4 or 9 heavy fighters.
Over the period of its existence the group has visited Finland, France, Germany, Sweden, Belgium, Italy, Malaysia and Bahrain and demonstrated its highest flying skills in these countries.
Russian Knights and Strizhi are the visiting card of Russian air forces.
