Ak Bars Aero has acquired 10th Bombardier CRJ-200

The 10th Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft was delivered to Ak Bars Aero on April 24th. The aircraft has passed custom procedures at Kazan airport and has been delivered to the Bugulma base airport. It will perform charter and regular flights. The regular flight from Bugulma to Moscow will become the jet’s debut, the carrier’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

The milestone aircraft has received the name “Queen” – traditionally the name of the aircraft should begin with the last letter of its tail number (this time it is Q).

The aircraft was acquired under conditions of leasing for a period of 10 years. Ak Bars Holding Company and Ak Bars Bank have provided their support in the network of program on financing the international projects. Ak Bars Aero started the modernization of its fleet in 2009. The first commercial flight of its CRJ-200 has been performed in March 2010, the carrier noted.
