Transaero has successfully completed the flight test program of its first aircraft equipped with the antenna providing Internet access

Transaero has successfully completed the flight test program of its first Boeing 747 aircraft equipped with the antenna providing high broadband Internet access in the network of special program for fitting airline’s aircraft with such systems, the carrier’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

«Transaero has chosen the type of antenna, which has never been installed on Boeing-747 aircraft before, that is why in accordance with FAA rules, it was necessary to complete the flight test program. The reliable work of the antenna has been confirmed during these flights, which have been performed in different modes, including the full power conditions», - the airline noted.

The successful completion of the testing carried out in USA by Transaero paves the way for serial equipping of Boeing-747 aircraft with the type of antenna selected by the carrier, the airline explained.
