The revenues of NPO Saturn have reached $356 million in 2011

NPO Saturn has finalized the results of its activities in 2011. The revenues of NPO Saturn have reached $356 million (10.5 billion rubles) in 2011 (+7.9% as compared to 2010), the company’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

Optimization of operating activities and further implementation of anti-crisis program have allowed reaching a net profit of $1,8 million (53,3 million rubles) as against the loss of $50,82 million (1,5 billion rubles) in 2010.

Stabilization of financial condition and enhancement of operating efficiency have provided the increase of average salary by 18.1% while the output per employee has increased by 23,1% as compared to 2010. Further arrangements aimed at further increase of average salary by 14/3% are scheduled for 2012, the company noted.

"The anniversary year 2011 (NPO Saturn has been founded 95 years ago) was marked by many important milestones. For example, start of revenue service of Sukhoi Superjet-100 equipped with SaM146 engines, public demonstration of HJT-36 aircraft equipped with AL-55I engines at AeroIndia-2011 airshow, spin-off  of Saturn – Instrumentalny Zavod (it became the NPO Saturn’s subsidiary) after being chosen as the United Engine Corporation’s (UEC) center of competence in the area of engineering process preparation. The total operating time of GTD-6RM engines has reached 1 000 000 hours in 2011. The enterprise has also signed several long-term contracts in 2011, which will provide the growth of output and sales in the next few years", - press-service of NPO Saturn noted.

The Managing director of NPO Saturn, Ilya Fedorov, noted that “the enterprise intends to make some endogenous changes in 2012, which will help increase output to 131,7 % as compared to 2011”.
