CEO of Aeroflot – Russian Airlines has been awarded the annual international “Person of the year” prize in the “Director of the year” category. The awarding ceremony has taken place on February 28th in Moscow in Bolshoy Petrovsky Hall of the President-Hotel, the airline’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

«Person of the year» is one of the most prestigious and significant awards in Russia, established by the respected information agency - RosBusinessConsulting. According to the conception of the award’s organizers, its main purpose is contribution to the union of society, business and state authority along with attraction of vast attention to the persons, who have approved themselves in the area of servicing the public, political and state interests of Russia, the airline noted.

The laureates of 2011 have been selected by means of voting by expert council, formed by high-powered politicians, outstanding state and public figures and representatives of business elite.

Noting the successful work of Aeroflot in 2011, the expert council has highly appreciated the individual contribution of Vitaly Savelyev in development of country’s civil aviation. The award’s organizers noted that efficient company management is one of the most important factors for dynamic and professional growth of Aeroflot – Russian Airlines.
