Russia will negotiate with 20 European countries on increase of the number of appointed carriers

Russia will negotiate with several European countries on increase of the number of appointed carriers and flight frequencies in the first half of 2012, said Valery Okulov, Deputy Minister of Transport of Russian Federation. He noted that 20 European countries will take part in the negotiations, including Germany and France. AEX.ru

We remind you that aviation authorities of Russia and Italy have already agreed to increase of the number of appointed carriers. The flight frequency on this destination will be increased two times and the second appointed carrier will emerge. At present the appointed carriers for Russia and Italy are Aeroflot and Alitalia, the rest airlines may perform flights only upon authorization of these appointed carriers.
